Dennis Heller, President & CEO of Stephenson Equipment, Inc., a top Manitowoc / Grove distributor headquartered in Harrisburg, PA, has announced the acquisition of CC & FF Keesler, Inc. of Prospect Park, PA.

Stephenson has recently focused on growth into Philadelphia / Southeast Pennsylvania market. Seeking a facility and possible strategic alliance with an existing distributor, Heller approached Keesler and found significant common ground leading to the resulting aquisition. Stephenson Equipment and CC & FF Keesler have a working relationship dating back to the 1950's when both became P&H Crane distributors. Both companies were regular top ten distributors for P&H until the brand was sold in the mid 1990's. Ever since, both companies represented different brands but continued a business relationship.

Mr. Heller said the Keesler name is recognized and well regarded in the crane industry.  Their facility is top rate for crane work and their location at I95, which is a stones throw from the airport, Blue Route and, the states of Delaware and New Jersey is ideal.  He further added their position as the top Rogers Brothers Trailer dealer for over 80 years is a tradition Stephenson intends to continue and build on.

CC & FF Keesler CEO Rick Keesler says this merger is a great fit for himself, brother Steve and Keesler employees.  Keesler said, “We did not have a concrete succession plan in place which prevented the long term focus this business required, now Stephenson provides that focus.” Rick Keesler added “We are pleased all employees will remain and have additional opportunities.  It was also important to Steve and me that the relationship our Grandfather started with Rogers Brothers in 1926 will be embraced and enhanced by Stephenson.”
